What We Are All About at Nella's Place
Southern cooking is a testament to both our past and present. Reunions, holidays, and other special occasions are times when the menu is just as important as the guest list. With that in mind, during the winter of 2014, we opened Nella's Place —a tribute to our family and the food we grew up on.
Many of our recipes are foods that we were raised on. Soulfully cooked food is richly flavored, passed down from generation to generation, and filled with tradition and history. We are firm believers in simple pleasures, and we are delighted to share our version of Southern hospitality with you.
We thank everyone who has graced our tables and shared pieces of themselves. It is a pleasure to share a little bit of home with you.

Oh…my…goodness! Stop what you’re doing and do yourself a favor and have dinner here! The food is made to order fresh and QUICK!not to mention how authentic and good it taste! We expected it would take a while because it was homemade but no. They give you big portions and they are the sweetest loveliest ladies! Best Soul Food I've had sense moving to California. The staff are super friendly as well. Just like going to Grandma's Sunday Dinner for some good ol Southern cooking. So good we came back the next night.
